On Friday (April 21st), Skinny Puppy played the first of two back-to-back performances at New York City's Irving Plaza. Lead Into Gold, a.k.a. longtime Ministry member Paul Barker, opened the show, but it was Puppy's night — the Canadian industrial OGs are in the midst of their "Final Tour," which also marks the band's first trek in eight years and commemorates their 40th anniversary.
All in all, it made for a momentous night, and Nivek Ogre, cEvin Key and Co. pulled out all the stops, delivering a wild, theatrical 19-song set packed with fan favorites like "Worlock," "Dig It" and "Assimilate."
